How it Works
Contact Fundraising for the Future so we may explain the the details of our program.
We suggest a minimum of 14 days notice works best to insure that each participant has ample time to put together the items they would like to donate as well as it will give them time to ask family, friends and neighbors for there donations. We will provide marketing literature . We accept any type of plastic bags to be used for the collection.
A letter explaining how Fundraising for the Future works, and the benefits of participating will be provided along with customizable posters to display in public areas to encourage participation.
On the date and time agreed upon, a representative from Fundraising for the Future will arrive at the appointed location to pick up the bags for collection. All bags need to be closed and placed at the curb side of the pick up location. The bags are then brought to our facility to be processed and weighed. A check and certificate of achievement will be sent within 30 days from the pick up date to the school, the designated organization or charity.
What we collect:
- New or Gently worn clothing of all ages and sizes(no stains,rips or holes)
- New or Gently worn shoes of all ages and sizes(in pairs only)
- Belts
- Handbags
- Light Linens
- Towels
